Can I use Branch Basics in a carpet cleaner/upholstery machine?Updated 3 days ago

Yes, you can use Branch Basics in your carpet/upholstery . Our first suggestion is to clean the machine out thoroughly of the products that might have strong VOC's (smells) from chemicals used previously. Then you would use a very dilute solution of our product in the machine. Use 1 -2 teaspoons Branch Basics Concentrate to 1 gallon water or see below.

For spot cleaning, you can use our All Purpose solution and agitate with a brush. Always test in an inconspicuous area to see how the product works on the carpet/upholstery. You want to definitely air out and ventilate the area while it is being cleaned as cleaning carpet can release chemicals.

1 - 2 teaspoons Concentrate per gallon of water (16 cups) ½ - 1 teaspoon Concentrate per ½ gallon of water (8 cups) ¼ - ½ teaspoon Concentrate per ¼ gallon of water (4 cups)
⅛ - ¼ teaspoon Concentrate per ⅛ gallon of water (2 cups)

Note: We do not recommend adding Oxygen Boost to your machine, because it can get clogged.
